Moong dal – 1 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 1/2 tsp
Celery – 1/2
Oil for frying – as required
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Moong Dal Paneer Pakoda Recipe
It will take you a total of 30 minutes to make Moong Dal Paneer Pakoda, but the Moong Dal will have to be thawed 3 to 4 hours before eating. Step 1: Make moong dal paste
First of all, soak the moong dal in water for 3 to 4 hours. Now drain the water from the lentils and put it in the mixer. Now add a small piece of ginger and 3-4 cloves of garlic and grind it to make a coarse paste. Now take this paste out in a separate plate and keep it aside.
Step 2: Add spices
Now add finely chopped onion, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies to this paste. Now add 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, half teaspoon garam masala, half teaspoon chaat masala, add salt as per taste and mix well with half a teaspoon. Add less asafoetida, add 2 spoons of oil and mix well.
Step 3: Cut the cheese and mix
Now cut the paneer into triangle shapes and add it to the mixture and mix well. Now to make pakodas, heat the oil in a pan on high flame.
Step 4: Fry the Pakodas
Now take out the paneer pieces from the mixture and put them in hot oil, fry only 4 pakodas at a time. Flip them with a spoon until they turn golden and when they turn red, take them out of the pan and keep them on dry paper.
